THINKING ABOUT BECOMING A BASKETBALL OFFICIAL? START HERE.

The Wisconsin Basketball Officials Association (WBOA) is proud to launch a series of entry-level mini clinics this winter for individuals interested in becoming high school basketball officials.

There is no cost or commitment to participants

​

As the largest single-sport officials association in the state, WBOA is home to over 250 members and has proudly served Wisconsin’s officiating community for more than 12 years. We are committed to training, mentoring and growing the next generation of officials. And that starts with YOU.

ABOUT THE CLINICS

These two-hour sessions are designed to be flexible, approachable and informative.
No prior experience is required. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn.

 

Participants will:

  • Learn the basics of basketball officiating

  • Hear from our team of WBOA entry-level instructors

  • Explore the benefits of joining WBOA

  • Receive guidance on next steps to get certified and connected

  • November 16  |  10AM-Noon  |  Franklin High School

  • December 14  |  6:45-8:45PM  |  St. Matthews, Oconomowoc

  • February 21  |  9-11AM  |  Hartford High School

These sessions are ideal for high school students, college students, former athletes, educators, or anyone looking to stay connected to the game and give back to their community. WBOA will continue to offer these clinics before, during and after the winter basketball season across southeastern Wisconsin.
